Like many writers I have too many ideas in my head to just focus on one to completion, so this is my development slate that is always in a state of flux. Hopefully they will soon start to drop off the conveyor into the completed work section... and then into a cinema perhaps?

Zeus makes 3 of the Greek Gods live with humans in New York for a year. They rent an apartment from a female blind singer who helps them understand what makes the human race so special. One of the Gods falls in love with a mortal.

Heroes (short) - commission
A talking heads documentary detailing the secret lives of superheroes and what happens after the bad guy wins.

Nothing To Fear (But Fear Itself) (feature)
"Falling Down meets Philadelphia"
Thriller/Drama
A nervous man is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and discovers there is nothing to fear in life. This has dramatic consequences on those around him and those who meet him.

Brain-freeze (feature)
"Teen-Wolf meets The Nutty Professor"
Comedy
Part of an ancient 'curse', the nerdiest school nerd turns super-cool when he hits 16. Coming to terms with his coolness, keeping it secret and being able to woo the girl of his dreams: being cool is not everything he ever wanted.

Row (feature)
"Hoosiers meets Richard Curtis"
Comedy/Drama
A teacher at a posh school who also coaches rowing moves to a local comp for the challenge. After discovering his rowing interest the new students want to enter a competition his old students have entered. The extra workload of coaching the students puts a strain on the relationship with his wife.

Elgar: The Dragon Is Resting Now (feature)
"A Beautiful Mind meets Atonement"
Biopic
A chapter from the life of the greatest British composer Edward Elgar. Finding success Elgar retreats to Malvern with his family to rest, his daughter falls seriously ill and his conflict lies when he has to move back to London to resume his career leaving his daughter behind.

Drama
The story of Academy Award winning film director D.W. Griffith and America's most famous detective William J Burns; their investigation into the bombing of the Los Angeles Times building in 1910.
